RealDesignTech has secured Pre-Series A investment from Magna Investment and Sangsang E-Biz. The round was completed through Magna Investment's impact fund and Sangsang E-Biz's sports fund, with the investment amount remaining undisclosed.
Ultiracer, developed by RealDesignTech, is a real-cycling platform that mounts and fixes a bicycle so riders can enjoy the full sensation of outdoor riding indoors. Unlike conventional trainers limited to simple pedaling, it recreates cornering as well as uphill and downhill motion, and pairs the bike's movement data with cycling game content to make every workout both immersive and genuinely fun.
Ultiracer also features a full-body coordination training system designed for seniors and people with cognitive challenges, broadening its potential as a digital healthcare solution that supports cognitive function and balance. It is already supplied to elementary, middle, and high schools, fitness centers, and senior welfare facilities at home and abroad, and the company is now actively expanding into the European and Japanese markets.
Our partners in this round share our confidence in Ultiracer's growth potential. Magna Investment pointed to RealDesignTech as a social-impact company that delivers technological and social value at once, with strong growth prospects in addressing the health needs of an aging society. Park Soon-bong, CEO of Sangsang E-Biz, who also backed our seed round, praised the development of an indoor real-cycle system that enables full-body core exercise beyond the limits of simple pedaling, and voiced his expectation for results not only in Korea but across global markets.
With this investment, RealDesignTech plans to move faster on several fronts: advancing its core technology, developing digital therapeutics (DTx), expanding into overseas markets, and deepening partnerships with public institutions, hospitals, and fitness centers.
Above all, we see this round as the starting point of a new chapter. As populations age around the world, exercise that trains the brain and body together is becoming more valuable than ever. In the words of CEO Lee Joong-sik, RealDesignTech will keep innovating—without pause—so that more people can manage their health with ease and enjoy a higher quality of life.
