Gwangju Secures 160.5 Billion Won in Future-Industry Investment

The City of Gwangju has solidified its standing as a hub for next-generation industry, attracting investment commitments worth 160.5 billion won from 11 promising companies across the automotive, artificial intelligence (AI), and energy sectors. Under the memorandums of understanding (MOU) signed at Gwangju City Hall, the participating firms will establish or expand factories and research centers, generating an estimated 517 new jobs (Gwangju Free Economic Zone Authority).

Turning Cycling Data into Cognitive Care

Within this partnership, RealDesignTech is focused on developing a digital therapeutic (디지털 치료제) that analyzes bicycle riding data to help prevent cognitive disorders such as dementia and to support rehabilitation. By drawing on the rich movement and performance data generated through our Ultiracer platform, we aim to translate everyday cycling into meaningful, measurable health outcomes.

Gwangju's robust AI infrastructure offers an ideal environment to advance this mission. Leveraging the region's AI capabilities, we plan to further refine our personalized health management solutions—making them more precise, more adaptive, and more responsive to each individual's needs (Newsshin).
