Ultiracer

Every ride, measured.
Every ride, a game worth playing.

Two pieces of software run at the bike. A kiosk system that just works, and UltiLink, the desktop app that connects the bike, opens the screen, and reports on the room.

Nothing to install. Nothing in the way. Get on and ride.

The catalog

One catalog. Two places to run it.

Workouts, wellness checks, arcade games, and real racing. Some run on the kiosk, some in UltiLink, and 5 are on both. 16 in all.

Free Ride

Open riding, nothing to score

The ride most riders take. Big live numbers, distance, and a lane bar that shows where your balance sits. There is nothing to beat, so a first session can just be a ride.

  • Speed, distance, effort, and pedalling rhythm, live from the first turn of the pedals.
  • Heart rate and effort sensors join in automatically when they are fitted.
  • In UltiLink it is the same open ride, finished with a balance score.
HIIT Training

HIIT Training

In UltiLink: Tabata Workout

Timed intervals with an Interval Score

Guided intervals with clear sound cues: a warm up, alternating sprints and recoveries, and a cool down. The default session runs about 14 minutes, and a facility can reshape it. At the end the rider gets an Interval Score from 0 to 100 that says how closely the ride followed the plan.

  • The default plan is a 60 second warm up, 8 sprints of 60 seconds with 30 second recoveries, then a 60 second cool down.
  • The score reads how far apart hard and easy were, how consistent the sprints stayed, and how much of the work was finished.
  • It stays off the leaderboards. Following your own plan is not a race.

In UltiLink the same workout runs under the name Tabata Workout, with the same score.

Perfect Racer

Perfect Racer

Balance and steadiness, scored

Hold your line on an endless mountain road that is generated fresh for every ride. Riders earn distance by staying centred, with the biggest multiplier dead centre and a penalty out at the edge. A short warm up settles them in, then a 30 second scored round by default, which a facility can stretch to 5 minutes.

  • Distance is the default measure, with a bonus for holding the centre for four straight seconds.
  • The classic points game is still there for facilities that prefer a graded score.
  • Leaderboards only ever compare rides of the same length.

With the motion sensors fitted, riders also see live steadiness charts as they play. In UltiLink the same game runs as the classic version.

Cliff Race
KioskUltiLink

Cliff Race

Up to 8 riders in one room

The big one. A full 3D race down a cliff road, with up to eight bikes in the same building racing each other and computer riders filling any empty place. No internet, no matchmaking, no accounts.

  • One bike hosts, the rest join in a tap.
  • Riding alone? The same course, against the computer.
  • Lake, tunnel, and town, with every finish timed.
Velodrome

Velodrome

Two riders in a match sprint, or up to seven behind a pacer in a keirin, on a 250 m track with real drafting and banked turns. Racing against computer riders works with no connection at all.

Alien Invasion

Arcade

The bike is the weapon. Pedal faster and the guns fire faster, and every shot lands harder the quicker you go. Lean to steer, three lives, and a workout that happens on the way.

  • The harder a rider pedals, the faster and heavier the fire.
  • Waves, many kinds of enemy, mid bosses, and a final boss for anyone still riding past 15 minutes.
  • Power ups, a few hidden surprises, and a high score riders actually chase.

UltiLink runs the kiosk’s own version of the game, so it plays the same on both.

Cognition Test
KioskUltiLink

Cognition Test

A wellness check, about 5 to 7 minutes

A guided wellness check of mind and body that riders take while they pedal. Steering left, centre, or right is the answer button, so the mind works while the legs hold a pace. Three short tasks look at focus, memory, and quick judgement, and the ride ends with one clear score.

  • A short baseline pace comes first, and holding that pace is part of the result.
  • Members can watch their score move over time.
  • Spoken guidance is available on the kiosks that want it.

For insight and comparison, not a medical assessment.

Your menu, your order.

Two are enabled on request, together with us. Everything else is yours to switch on, in the order you want.

Riding it

Your first ride takes about five seconds.

No account, no forms, no waiting. The screen is already on, and everything after that is pedalling.

Walk up

The screen greets you. Members check in by pointing their phone camera at the code. In a hurry, or just visiting? Ride as a guest.

Walk up

Just ride

Big, live numbers the moment the pedals move. Speed, distance, effort, and a lane that gently shows where your balance sits.

Just ride

Or make it a game

Pedal faster and your ship fires faster. Hold your line and the road rewards you. The workout happens on the way.

See what you did

Every ride ends with your numbers, and a balance score you will want to beat tomorrow. Members find every ride saved to their history.

See what you did

Guests ride without an account, and it all keeps working when the network is down. Rides made offline upload themselves later.

The two programs

One platform, two pieces of software.

The kiosk is the screen your riders touch. UltiLink is the desktop app that gives the kiosk a bike to listen to. A facility runs one, the other, or both.

Ultiracer Kiosk

Cloud-Based System

The Ultiracer kiosk showing its activity menu

There is nothing to install. It opens full screen on whatever device sits at the bike, reads the bike directly when the two are wired together, and can pick up a heart rate, cadence, or power sensor as well.

UltiLink

Desktop app for Windows, macOS and Linux

The UltiLink window on a desktop PC, with a bike connected

It runs on the PC beside the touchscreen. It connects to the bike wirelessly, feeds the screen, opens the kiosk for you, and carries its own library of programs that need no connection at all.

Two products, not one.

UltiLink can open the kiosk and hand it the bike. That is a convenience, not a dependency.

A wired kiosk needs no UltiLink at all. Connect the bike to the screen and ride.

The kiosk is not one of UltiLink’s programs. UltiLink never contains it.

What they share

Five programs live on both.

The programs riders use most live on the kiosk and in UltiLink. Learn a favourite once and it is there either way, even when the network is not.

Free Ride
The same ride, built for each screen.

HIIT Training
The same Interval Score, scored the same way.

The rest is what each product is best at. The kiosk adds the wellness checks and the track. UltiLink adds the programs it can run with no connection at all.

Your facility

The screen runs itself.

The kiosk runs itself with almost no staff involvement. It starts into the right screen on its own, greets riders, updates itself, and keeps working when the network does not. Staff step in only when they want to change something.

Operator control

Your menu, in your order.

A facility chooses which apps appear on a kiosk and drags them into the order it wants. The rest of the screen is yours too: theme, logo, backgrounds, the idle screensaver, and how guests are asked to enter.

The bridge

The bike, without the cable to the screen.

UltiLink connects to the bike wirelessly and passes everything through to the screen beside it. The screen shows the same numbers it would with a cable, and the touchscreen is free of one. UltiLink also tells the screen which bike it is, so rides land on the right unit with nobody typing anything in.

  • It can open the kiosk full screen by itself, when a bike connects and every time the machine starts.
  • A new kiosk can set itself up with no code to type, because UltiLink introduces it.
  • A one time steering calibration for each bike makes that bike more accurate everywhere.
  • A guided troubleshooter walks staff through it when a bike goes quiet.

Records and reporting

A report a reviewer can read in one pass.

UltiLink keeps every ride on the machine, and uploads to the cloud so UltiLink rides and kiosk rides sit in the same place. Uploading is on by default and can be switched off. Out of that comes a facility report built for the person deciding whether the budget worked.

UltiLink ride records, listing sessions with distance, speed, and score
The UltiLink leaderboard ranking riders by distance

In the report

  • Headline numbers for the period, with arrows against the period before
  • An activity panel measured against WHO activity guidelines
  • A balance quality gauge and which programs were used most
  • An activity heat map, a member list, and a top ten for each program

On the machine

  • Sessions, riders, and leaderboards, exportable as a spreadsheet
  • Rider profiles kept locally, which are not platform accounts
  • Stray test pedals tidy themselves away, so the records stay clean
  • A storage limit that clears the oldest recordings first
  • Backup and restore files for records and settings

Across the fleet

  • Sleep, wake, and shutdown schedules that never cut into a ride
  • Updates install quietly on Windows, and ask first on macOS. Never during a ride.
  • Optional syncing between machines in the same building, switched on at both ends
  • Starts with the machine, and keeps it awake while a program is running
  • A support tab with live business hours and an illustrated manual

The second screen

Standings on the wall.

The Live Leaderboard is a display, not a program. It opens as an ordinary window you can drag to a second monitor, ranks riders by any of eighteen measures, and saves presets for the events a facility runs again and again.

  • Choose the program, the measure, and the time window.
  • Event title, theme, background, logo, and layout are all saved.
  • It is a display, not one of the programs in the catalog, and not something a rider launches.

Requirements and limits

What to expect, plainly.

  • UltiLink runs on Windows, macOS and Linux, wireless setup included on all three.
  • For accurate member tracking, use the kiosk: members check in there and every ride lands in their own history. UltiLink keeps rider profiles on the machine instead of member accounts.
  • UltiLink reports its own health to us at all times so we can support your fleet. Uploading rides to the cloud is the part you can switch off, and it is on by default.
  • UltiLink’s own interface is available in English, Korean, and Japanese. The kiosk runs in English, Korean, Japanese, Spanish, and Arabic.
  • The Cognition Test, Perfect Racer, and every balance figure are for insight and comparison, not a medical assessment.
  • Riders can always leave a program and get back to the menu.

The rest of the platform

A phone for the rider, a dashboard for you.

Riders use their phone to check in and to look back at what they have done, straight from the web with nothing to download. Facilities work in the browser: sessions, leaderboards, members, and reports. UltiLink rides and kiosk rides land in the same place.

There is no app to install on either side.
